Inner Innocence
Behold the child within-his/her heart and mind are pure and clear. As the years go by our experiences draw to them either positive or negative memories. The traumas and fears wage a hold on our development-fragmenting aspects of ourselves away from our wholeness. This creates feelings of emptiness and separation, altering our intentions, outer expressions, and reactions to all who cross our path.
Neediness, and feelings of aloneness occur, misguiding us to look outside of ourselves for the answers to our pain. These external experiences can create a temporary and false sense of wholeness which continues the hold on our development. When the illusion dissolves, we are left with frustration, anger, and feelings of being victimized-continuing the cycle of separation and desperation.
The child within each of us is asking that we start looking inward for our answers, allowing us to remember who we really are through the process of self-discovery. This process will take patience and a who lot of courage—allowing the floodgates to our memories and emotions to open, which have left us heavy-hearted and lost.
In working through these blocks, which have created so much inner-torment and feelings of not belonging—we will come out on the other side with a sense of peace and wholeness. We will then understand our true identity, unlimited potential, and the purpose for which we came.
Our inner child will rejoice when we remember that all paths to truth are found internally and not externally. We will finally experience the meaning of holiness.
